Preparation Instructions

Cooking Method Rice Cooker 1. Rinse rice with cold water. 2. Place 1 cup of rice in a rice cooker bowl. 3. Add 1 1/2 cups of cold water. 4. Start cooking in the rice cooker. When rice cooker switches to 'keep warm' (approx 15 minutes) stand for 5 minutes before serving. Absorption 1. Rinse rice with cold water. 2. Place 1 cup of rice in a saucepan. 3. Add 1 1/2 cups of cold water and bring to the boil. 4. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes. 5. Remove from heat and stand covered for 5 minutes. Gentle boil 1. Rinse rice with cold water. 2. Place 1 cup of rice in a saucepan. 3. Add 8 cups of cold water. Bring to boil and stir occasionally. 4. Reduce heat and boil gently uncovered for 15 minutes. 5. Remove from heat, drain well and serve. 1 cup of uncooked rice = approximately 3 cups of cooked rice. For softer rice add more water.

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool dry place out of sunlight, ideally in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
