Mornington Peninsula

Description

The warmth & sunshine of this exclusive site produces pinot noir of exceptional quality. The dark cherry bouquet leads to a rich fruit driven palate of rich dark plums & dried herbs. The gentle touch of French oak adds complexity and structure on the fine earthy finish.

About Baillieu Vineyard

Baillieu Vineyard wines are exclusively estate grown on Bulldog Run, a picturesque property with natural protective bush land, pristine water and native grasses located in Merricks North on the Mornington Peninsula. The ten hectare single vineyard is planted in well-draining deep loamy soil. The site has a north facing aspect that captures valuable sunshine creating the perfect ripening conditions to produce wines with deep colour and soft palates. The vineyard is managed by viticulturist Jason Lockett and the award winning wines are made under contract by celebrated winemaker Geraldine McFaul at Willow Creek Vineyard. (Website)
