This cool climate chardonnay shows aromas of nectarines with subtle tropical fruit characters, with a hint of lemon citrus notes. The palate is silky smooth with a fresh tropical mid palate. The balanced acidity is refreshing with an elegant finish.

About Baillieu Vineyard

Baillieu Vineyard wines are exclusively estate grown on Bulldog Run, a picturesque property with natural protective bush land, pristine water and native grasses located in Merricks North on the Mornington Peninsula. The ten hectare single vineyard is planted in well-draining deep loamy soil. The site has a north facing aspect that captures valuable sunshine creating the perfect ripening conditions to produce wines with deep colour and soft palates. The vineyard is managed by viticulturist Jason Lockett and the award winning wines are made under contract by celebrated winemaker Geraldine McFaul at Willow Creek Vineyard. (Website)
